Recruiter / Human Resources Associate

We seek a fifth Recruiter/Human Resources Associate with 1-2 years of work experience (preferably in recruiting) and the following qualities:

Smart: You earned an outstanding GPA, and you’ve continued to excel since graduating. Our recruiting efforts focus on the Ivy Leagues and other schools with top computer science programs, so you’ll earn extra points if one of these schools is your alma mater.

Organized: “Detail-oriented” only begins to describe our ideal candidate. There are dozens of events to plan, hundreds of resumes to track, and thousands of details to remember, so a passion for meticulous organization is required.

Self-motivated: While many job descriptions include this, we mean it. You will be responsible for every step of the recruiting process, from identifying potential candidates to welcoming them aboard. As most of Tower’s top candidates are also courted by more well-known firms, an important part of your job will be communicating to candidates that we are part of a successful career path (and we are).

Outgoing: Whether you’re representing Tower at a New York networking event or a west-coast career fair, we want you to reflect our spirit—hardworking, entrepreneurial, fun-loving, focused on the important stuff and laid back about the other stuff. Meeting with faculty members and conducting phone interviews should be a breeze for you.

  • A preference for finding the best solutions (not necessarily the easiest) to problems of all sizes

Major Responsibilities

  • Conducting outreach efforts to identify potential candidates (includes some travel). You’ll be liaising with career services, student organizations, and of course, candidates themselves.
  • Managing each candidate’s relationship with Tower.
  • Coordinating logistics for recruitment initiatives. You’ll be responsible for everything from our team members’ flights to our candidates’ hotel stays.
  • Creating recruiting materials, from job descriptions to sweatshirts.
  • Assuming a proactive role in increasing the visibility of the firm.
