Mortgage Backed Securities Traders
Tower Research Capital LLC, a New York-based hedge fund, is seeking traders who have at least five years of experience with mortgage backed securities. Tower believes that the current market conditions provide an opportunity to selectively acquire distressed MBS and is in the process of building a team of traders to purchase portfolios.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of ARMs, option ARMs, non-agency MBS, and structured products. Proficiency in INTEX and Bloomberg is required, and experience with Subprime and Alt-A securities will be valued highly. Experience on the trading desk of a major bank is preferred.
